Presenter America’s Next Top Model recently confessed that her biggest dream is to be the first Damą and reside in the White House. Tyra Banks believes that this position should ideally suited to it. Unfortunately, not bound to any candidate for president.

A model admires Barack Obamy wife. In an interview for Harper’s Bazaar said that he did not have reached as high, if not his wife, Michelle Obama. She was with him from the very beginning, promoting, in every situation. It looks like Britney Spears already is trying to gain points in the influential pair.

Tyra’s first substantial movie role came in John Singleton’s Higher Learning. She played Omar Epps’ track-running girlfriend and, although it was a small role, critics were impressed by the intensity she brought to the screen.

Tyra was definitely not just another supermodel playing at being an actress — her performance was the real thing. She even did some distance-running training, in order to deliver a more believable performance. When the film came out, more offers began to roll in.

Tyra BaNKS went on to a small part in Love Stinks. Then, in 2000, she landed a supporting role in the popular independent film Love & Basketball, and a starring role in the made-for-TV Disney movie Life-Size (in which she played a doll brought to life by a wish).

In 1993, Banks met Boyz N the Hood director John Singleton through mutual friends. They began dating and in 1995 Banks had her screen debut in the Singleton directed film, Higher Learning. She was criticized for her acting, but Singleton assured she got the part based on her talent and not favoritism. In the spring of 1996 she and Singleton broke it off; shortly thereafter Banks was linked briefly to pop singer Seal, who would incidentally later go on to marry fellow supermodel Heidi Klum.

In 2002, Tyra was spotted consistently at Sacramento Kings basketball games, and was later confirmed to be dating their forward Chris Webber. Though their representatives denied it, the two were thought to be engaged. However, after a two-year romance, they broke up in 2004. Banks still harbors some emotions over this relationship, as on the November 8, 2006 episode of The Tyra Banks Show, she broke into tears while speaking about it with Jackie Christie, wife of NBA star Doug Christie.

Tyra is currently living in Manhattan/New York City with fellow fashion model and friend Amber Rives since filming for her talk show The Tyra Banks Show moved to being filmed at Chelsea Studios in New York City.
